They say when you become a mum you do stuff you never imagined yourself doing before. I get that. I mean, I’ve picked my child’s nose to help her breathe. I’ve wiped her poop off my feet. I’ve stayed up with her playing and singing songs in the middle of the night. Stuff that really wasn’t on my to-do list before I was a mum- but ok – imaginable. I just didn’t see myself wearing a soft furry bunny inside my shirt all day, hoping it would pick up my scent. “Why on earth do you need a bunny to smell like you?” You’re wondering. Well. My kid has been using my neck and face, including my eyes, to strengthen her scratching and squeezing skills. ESPECIALLY while she eats and falls asleep. She basically needs to get those little fingers of hers to pinch and scratch and squeeze something. So I’ve been trying relentlessly to replace my face with something else and the bunny is my latest ploy. Let’s pray it works. I can’t handle this anymore…I’ve walked out crying in pain after putting her to sleep 😥
